The Besson BE982 EEb Tuba is created with a high position mouthpipe for the marching band and is fitted with carriage rings and a lyre holder for comfort and convenience. Its slightly narrower mouthpipe gives the BE982 a brighter, clear tone.

Fully compensating EEb tuba improves intonation of lower register.
Constructed from high quality brass for excellent response and quality of sound.
High positioned mouthpiece - suitable for parade use.
Bell Diameter: 483mm (19").
Weight: 9.3kg (20lb 8oz).
Bore: 17.51mm (.689").
Bell rim rolled and soldered over brass wire, adds strength and protection to the bell.
Patented spring damper set for quieter valve action.
Valves: 4 bottom sprung stainless steel.
3 water keys with synthetic rubber seals give a perfect seal.
Stainless steel pistons for smooth action.
Bottom sprung valves gives fast valve action.
Delrin valve guides gives quieter valve action.
Phospher bronze non-corrosive valve springs.
Nickel silver inner slides.
2nd valve finger ring.
Black moulded case, plush lined interior, with wheels.
