Music, sounds & pictures
Sibelius Starclass contains hundreds of audio examples, ranging from abstract sounds such as metronomes and breaking waves, to instrumental excerpts and music to perform activities to. These are also provided on an audio CD, so you can play them in class without a computer.
Starclass includes hundreds of pictures of everything from instruments to dinosaurs, which you can enlarge and print out for worksheets, flashcards and posters. All of these resources may be photocopied!

Built-in Teaching Assistant!
You don't need specialist knowledge of music to teach with Starclass. Its Teacher Development sections introduce all the key musical concepts you need – and if you don't know where to start, Starclass has a range of progressive lessons specially selected for each year. So even non-specialist teachers can feel confident about teaching music.But Starclass is perfect for specialists, too. In many of the lesson plans, experienced music teachers can click a button to obtain more advanced information, and there's a built-in Assistant who provides extra teaching notes and materials wherever needed.
