The D112 has a specially engineered diaphragm with a low resonance frequency, which enables the microphone to keep a solid response below 100Hz, while allowing higher frequencies to cut through the mix.

The D112’s kick drum sound is brilliantly balanced, but it can also be used on bass amp cabinets and brass instruments.

The result is a kick drum sound that ideally balances precise definition and forceful impact. The D112 is also an excellent choice for use with bass cabinets, trombones, etc.
