We Think:
Yamaha's top of the range cornet can 'mix-it' with the best of them. After years of trying Yamaha can finally give the Besson Prestige a real run for its money.
Since its launch in 2005 the Xeno has become hugely popular, and we've sold them to many top brass band and military players. Designed by Professor David King in conjunction with YBS Band this really is a top quality professional level instrument - highly recommended.
The gold brass bell models (in silver and lacquer) are by far the most popular. Yellow brass bell models also available - please contact us for details.

Build Specification:
The instrument itself has a one piece bell which provides a graduate thickness for better feedback and hall filling projection as well as an ultimate resonance throughout the ranges. The bell is tapered in thickness towards the end for enhancing projection of sound, whilst at the other end, the new leadpipe shape offers the performer a darker more fluid sound as well.
In addition its new taper and smaller inventory leads for more resistance and an open toned sound. The construction itself has been vastly enhanced with new bell brace position and an extended water key hole for greater yet less instant resistance. The instrument features heavy weight valve caps and buttons, and the first slide trigger has been repositioned for a more comfortable grip and greater control.
