Export Couriers/Shipping Methods

 

We ship our international orders using the following:

UPS, DHL, Royal Mail /Air Mail or Parcel Force.

 

 

 

The courier selected is dependant on the total volumetric weight of the items you are purchasing.

A quotation is sent to each carrier, and then the cheapest is used.

All export shipping prices are charged to our customers at "cost" prices.

(if you can find a cheaper quote, or would prefer to arrange the shipping/collection yourself contact us before placing your order.)

All items are insured whilst in transit.

Tracking your Order

 

Once you have placed your order, a tracking number can be sent to you (on request).

You will be able to track your order during its transit process on the couriers website.

 

 

Shipping Quotation

 

If you would like a no obligation quotation for shipping:

contact us with your full shipping address, and a list of the items you would like to purchase.
 

 

VAT / Taxes

 

All our invoices automatically have UK sales tax (VAT) added, however, for goods exported outside the EU, and to VAT registered customers within the EU, we can supply goods ex-VAT.

For all other exports VAT is chargeable at the standard rate.

 

If you are from outside the EU on a trip and you intend to visit us personally to buy an instrument, (before leaving the EU with the goods in your personal luggage), we must invoice you inclusive of VAT.

However, you will be able to reclaim the vat by filling in a VAT 407 form. We keep these available and we will be able to help you fill them in and explain the procedure to get your refund as soon as possible.

 

Overseas customers are accountable for paying any local taxes or duties on importation of goods to their country.

 

Payment for International/Export Orders

For international orders, you can purchase items on our website - as normans,  and pay using the standard methods as listed on our payment methods page.

Alternatively, you can place an order either by email, or telephone and make payment by:

credit/debit card or Bank Transfer.

We will email our International Bank Transfer information (Swift/IBAN codes) to you, and once payment has cleared, the goods will be sent to you.

Please note: When making an international Bank Transfer - customers are accountable for paying any bank transfer fees (approx £8)
