M-Audio have released the new and improved Keystation II.

M-Audio

We’re very excited about the launch of the M-Audio Keystation. It is a high-quality, affordable MIDI Controller that is ideal for home studios due to its lightweight, portable frame. The Mark II version has velocity sensitive, synth-action keys for a smooth and expreKeystation 88 IIssive feel and playability allowing your creative juices to flow.

It also includes octave shift, sustain and modulation buttons so you can maximise your music and virtual instruments. The pitch and modulation wheels plus slider and buttons make it a great controller for playing and programming synths, samplers, drum sounds and more. New in the Mark II are the transport and directional controls for simple DAW operation meaning you won’t need your track pad or mouse. You also get the Righty-Eight Ensemble from SONiVOX Virtual Instrument. This is an authentic capture of a 9ft CD327 Steinway that can be utilised using the Ableton Live Lite included with your purchase.
The Keystation has complete connectivity with both Mac and PC and also has iOS compatibility using the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (Sold Separately). M-Audio have updated the design to a darker, slick one that I really like and it is still extremely lightweight and portable.
