There is nothing more satisfying than hearing a school orchestra, after months of rehearsals, perform in a concert to parents, friends, family and teachers.
Even for adults starting the violin for the first time, positive comments regarding a performance can be life-changing. Applause is addictive!
But, we all must start somewhere. Where the violin is concerned, you do not want to be paying an extortionate amount of money in the outset. Stradivarius can wait! What you need is a good sounding, well-built and reliable Violin. Hopefully the interest will continue, and an instrument upgrade will be just around the corner (from Normans obviously!)
Solution; Forenza Uno Violin. The most cost effective and reliable starter Violin available at Normans Musical Instruments.
This beautiful Violin is made from quality wood, finished with a rich varnish giving it a lovely warm and natural colour. The Forenza Uno comes supplied with a lightweight carry case for easy yet safe transportation and includes a quality wooden bow and a block of rosin. The Violins are available in sizes ¼, ½, ¾, and Full Size. But what size is the player??

Arm Measurement Guide
Have the player extend their left arm completely straight (but not overextended) with no bend in the elbow or wrists. Measure 1) from the base of the neck to the centre of the palm, and 2) from the base of the neck to the wrist.
Measurement 1 (neck to palm) indicates the largest size the player could use.
Measurement 2 (neck to wrist) indicates the most appropriate and comfortable size for the player.
|23⅝” and up||4/4 (Full Size)|
