Stagg BJH-B20 Blues Harmonica in A Major

BJH-B20 Blues Harmonica in A Major

We think:

The Harmonica dates back to the 19th century when Christian Friedrich Buschmann filed its first patent in 1821! Still a popular instrument today the harmonica is particularly popular within blues music.

This Stagg Blues Harmonica is set to A major - It is particularly ideal for new players with 10 diatonic holes giving 20 tones and a 0.9mm reed plate this blues harmonica will certainly keep you busy and hugely entertained! With a durable metal case you can ensure safe transportation of your harmonica wherever you go.

To create sound simply place instrument against lips and either breathe or blow into it.

Features/Specification:

  • Crisp sound
  • Robust metal case
  • A Major
  • 10 Diatonic holes

Tips for Beginners:

1. Keep your harmonica clean - It is always wise to keep your harmonica stored in a case rather than in a trouser or coat pocket so to avoid any dust or debris getting stuck in the reed! As a rule of thumb, for health and hygiene reasons; never let others share your harmonica.

2. Practice practice practice!: It is worth keeping fit and practicing your breathing techniques as with harmonicas and other wind instruments they require you to play without getting out of breath too quickly - therefore maintaining good cardiovascular health is vital to playing a good rhythm.

3. Don't soak your harmonica: soaking your harmonica has been known to shorten the life of this handy little wind instrument so try and avoid it!
