State of the art sound system recreates the natural sound of an acoustic guitar

 

SRT Powered is a new system that Yamaha have implemented in order to achieve the natural resonance and depth of tone that is usually created in the body of an acoustic guitar. This system works perfectly with the unique features of the SLG body and uses tonal samples from high end Yamaha acoustic guitars to bring you a truly spectacular sound. It reproduces every nuance of tone down to natural sustain and decay in order for you to experience the genuine, responsive sound of a 'real' instrument.

Yamaha have drawn inspiration from traditional acoustic guitars and given the SLG200 a creative edge, introducing a guitar that looks like no other. The unique design of the Silent Guitar also allows you to detach the top section for extra practicality and, with the included padded gigbag, you can take your instrument anywhere with you. This instrument is an excellent choice for the travelling guitarist, especially as the guitar is very robust and durable.

Quietness and versatility

The Yamaha SLG200 Silent Guitar is the perfect instrument to practice on if you do not wish to disturb others. Simply plug in your headphones and enjoy complete privacy and freedom to play wherever you are as the SLG200 is 80 percent quieter than a conventional acoustic guitar. It also offers you an array of versatile possibilities for performance and recording with the Line Out connection that will let you connect your guitar to an external music player and it will be perfect within a studio setting. There is a built-in precision tuner and the guitar comes with complimentary AA batteries and lots of user-friendly functions that will make your playing experience really enjoyable. The SLG200 can also be powered by an AC adaptor, sold separately.
