This is a video demonstration on how to clean a saxophone
Follow these simple steps;
- A Pad saver is a useful tool in maintaining the saxophone. Insert after playing and remove before storage, this will prolong the life of the pads.
- Using a polishing cloth wipe the body and keywork of the saxophone to remove grease or dirt
- Do not use any cleaning products as this may damage the surface on the instrument.
- To clean the neck or the Saxophone crook you will need a pull through. Insert the weighted down the smaller end of the neck and pull the cloth through all the way. repeat as necesarry.
