Great Feel
The D2’s Real Hammer Action (RHA) keyboard is designed to create a feel and playing performance of a real acoustic grand piano. It offers superb response and a smooth feel that will satisfy even the most demanding of players.

The keyboard does not use springs, instead its action is provided by hammer weight, which provides for a truly authentic feel.

The Instrument’s pedals also have the layout and feel of a traditional acoustic.

Great Sound
The D2’s New “Dual Split-Velocity Piano Sound Source” (DSVP) offers Sound Samples that are longer than any others in its class. The increased sample length allows the piano sound to sustain naturally, retaining acoustic warmth and realism throughout every passage, not just at the note’s attack.

The dual split-velocity piano sound system uses separate samples for higher-velocity key pressure and lower-velocity key pressure. This provides a full dynamic range from the delicate crispness of softly played notes to the rich full character of sustained tones.

When combined with the D2’s powerful (15w+15W) 4 speaker amplification system, the result is a superb, realistic & powerful sound.

Great Looking
The AXUS D2 really looks the part – a solidly constructed cabinet with classic lines, it feels robust yet elegant. Supplied in Rosewood finish, the D2 will sit well in any Home or Schools setting. In addition, a matching bench (with storage compartment) is supplied – to complete the outfit.

The Axus D2 comes equipped with a fantastic array of useful features, making it an extremely versatile instrument – for practice, tuition and performance:
Dual Headphone inputs allows for silent lessons and practice, whereas the Line out enables the instrument to be amplified through a PA system.

The 2 track sequencer is a superb teaching and practicing aid – enabling instant play back, virtual duets and so forth. In addition Midi connectivity opens up endless possibilities for computer interactivity and recording.

The onboard metronome is also a fantastic teaching and practicing tool for “drilling” pieces to perfection.

The Axus D2 is also an adaptable accompanying instrument with useful “master tune” and transpose functions.

Besides great piano sounds, the D2 comes with 128 voices – including acoustic guitar, organ, bass, electric piano and so on. These voices can be layered (playing 2 different voices simultaneously for rick, thick textures) or Split (playing two different voices with your left and right hands).
Voices can be further customised using Digital effects such as reverb (which recreates the decaying reflections of sound in a performance space) and Chorus (which creates the feel of numerous instruments being played together).

Delivery Information
Axus D2 Digital Piano is delivered in one box by specialist courier on a pallet to ensure it arrives with you in perfect condition. Upon arrival the courier company will take the box off the pallet and take it to your door.

Axus Digital Pianos are very easy and straightforward to assemble – and come complete with fully comprehensive instructions. Assembly takes very little time, but due to the weight of the instrument, is best done with two people.
