Once your order has been picked, packed and passed to one of our delivery partners we will send you an email to confirm it's on the way along with a copy of your invoice, which will show the delivery method.

Standard deliveries for small and medium items to UK mainland are delivered Monday to Friday by Parcelforce, who will contact you via text on the day of delivery to give you an hour delivery window. To get this service, you will need to provide us with your mobile number when placing your order. Weekend deliveries may happen during busy periods.


Extra large items (for example digital pianos and double basses) are shipped on a pallet via H. Young and are usually delivered in 5-10 days. We will contact you to arrange a suitable date for delivery, Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept deliveries to BFPO addresses. If you have any questions about this, please contact us and our team will be happy to help.

Where possible we will always ship all items ordered together and this is the case for the vast majority of our deliveries. If one or more of the items are out of stock you will be contacted by a member of our team with further details. We will always do our very best to get your complete order to you as quickly as possible and keep you informed of any potential delay.

Due to the complex nature of parcel delivery (particularly overseas) Normans reserves the right to amend the quoted shipping price in exceptional circumstances (for example large/heavy items, such as a piano, to first floor apartments/final destinations at the extremities of a region). Please be assured that this is a very rare occurrence and we will always contact you prior to shipping in order to discuss the issue with you and agree a mutually acceptable cost/solution.

If you are a school or education establishment and would like to place an order now but are unsure when you are able to accept delivery, we are more than happy to hold your order free of charge until your school is able to accept delivery. Please contact us for more information.
