Jumbie Jam Steel Pan in Pink
The steel pan originates from the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago where oil drums had been tuned and processed to form melodious sounding percussion instruments which included all 12 notes of the chromatic scale. These were first introduced in the 1930's and have since been declared as their national instrument.
