All of the Violins that
Normans Musical Instruments sell do come with a solid and protective bespoke case. But as the years go by, and concerts, travelling, and day to rigours take their toll, a new violin case might be required. It might be due to a broken zip, or just general wear and tear. But a lovely new pristine case is a lovely treat for your precious instrument.
We offer a select range of Violin cases, with options of colours, sizes, and costs to suit all budgets. You will find that 99% of all Violins will fit into the appropriate replacement case, as they are all moulded to accept the applicable sized Violin.
Fab Forenza
Starting at under £30, the most cost efficient and best value for money case is the
Forenza model. This lightweight case has a tough protective outer nylon cover, secure double-zips, plus a soft velour lined internal compartment to keep your Violin in pristine condition. The ergonomic handle and backpack style carrying straps also allow you to travel in comfort. And as expected, it has all of the necessary compartments for your bows and accessories.
Safe Stentor
If you own a Stentor Violin, you may prefer to keep the replacement case branded accordingly (even though you can hardly tell they are Stentor cases!). Nearly identical to the Forenza cases, they are available in
all sizes, and in either a red or blue finish. Personally, I don’t think they are worth the extra cost over the Forenza’s, and the carry handle isn’t as comfortable or secure as the beloved Forenza cases. The pockets on the cases are also much smaller.
Fantastic Forenza
The deluxe
Forenza Oblong Case is the epitome of luxury. You might not have a Stradivarius Violin inside... but other musicians will certainly look on with envy!
Available in full size, it provides excellent protection for precious instruments with a firm shaped interior lined with plush velour, and a firm sturdy square shaped exterior. There is not one, but two separate internal compartments for accessories and an external pocket for music. Inside there is space for two bows. Carry with either the handle or shoulder strap. This attractive black and cream case will definitely gain a crescendo of admirers.
So, to summarise.
If you are travelling around with a scruffy old violin case, treat yourself to an excellent replacement. It might not make you play any better, but it will certainly make you look more professional!
