The Nuvo Zip-Kit Essential is a fully acoustic, compact drum kit designed to go wherever your music takes you. Everything packs neatly into the bass drum, making it straightforward to store, carry and set up - whether that's in a school music room, a practice space or at home. Despite its compact footprint, it includes all the core components needed to learn and play drums from first principles, making it a genuinely practical solution for music teachers and their students.
The kit features an 8" height-adjustable snare, a string-operated 10" hi-hat, a 90-degree kick pedal, an adjustable stool and a pair of 7A hickory sticks. A foam mute pad keeps the snare at a comfortable volume for quieter practice sessions, and the two-tone silicone kick beater gives players the option to switch between soft and hard strikes with ease. Two padded backpack-style carry straps are included, making the kit comfortable to transport between classrooms, lessons or rehearsals.
Adjustable and Expandable
The Zip-Kit is built to grow with the player. Fully height-adjustable drums and cymbals make it suitable for children from 4 years old right through to adults, and four telescoping posts allow extra toms and cymbals to be added whenever a student is ready to expand their setup. The kit can also be configured for left-handed players in seconds by repositioning the pedals and hi-hat, removing a common barrier for younger learners.
