Where possible, we recycle our ex-rental instruments back into our rental pool so they can be used again. Each instrument is prepared to a high standard, having been cleaned, serviced and play-tested to ensure it arrives in “like-new” playing condition. There may be minor cosmetic signs of use, but these won’t affect how the instrument plays.
By reusing and maintaining quality instruments, we’re also supporting a more sustainable, circular approach to music. It means less waste, better use of materials, and more people able to access instruments without the cost of buying new.

What is Wuva?
Wuva is an FCA-authorised hire partner (FCA 1002223). Your financial agreement is with Wuva, not Normans.
Normans handles the instrument logistics (delivery and return); Wuva handles all financial and contract communications.
Who can rent an instrument?
Our rental service is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
How long is the minimum rental term?
The minimum rental term is 3-months. After that, the rental continues on a rolling monthly basis until you choose to cancel.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes. There is a one-off £20 shipping fee. This covers the initial delivery of the instrument and return shipping when you later decide to send it back.
We recommend keeping the original packaging to make returning the instrument quick and easy.
What condition are the instruments in?
Our rental pool of instruments are maintained to a high standard and arrive ready to play. Many are ex-rental and have been cleaned and serviced to a “like-new” playing condition. There may occasionally be light cosmetic signs of use, but this won’t affect performance.
Can I buy the instrument I'm renting?
This is a rental-only service, so there isn’t a standard option to purchase the instrument you’ve been renting.

Who is my rental agreement with?
Your rental agreement is with Wuva, our rental partner. Wuva manages the hire agreement and related contract matters. You can view their Terms and Conditions here.
What happens when I sign up?
- Once you've chosen your instrument, you'll be directed to the Wuva checkout to finalise your order.
- After you’ve completed checkout, you’ll be sent an onboarding email from wuva@notifications.wuva.com with the following three simple steps:
- ID verification (powered by Stripe for your safety)
- Permission to run a soft credit check (this does not impact your credit score). This happens instantly.
- Once passed, you'll then be able to sign your hire agreement.
- Once approved, we arrange delivery or collection as normal.
- Payments are taken each month by Wuva from the card you registered. After your initial term, it continues month-to-month at the same rate until you have returned the instrument and cancelled the agreement.
What happens after the first 3 months?
After the initial 3-month term, your rental continues monthly until you cancel and return the instrument.
