viola-bowBows

Forenza Viola bows, available for either 12-13” or 14-16” length Violas, are built to the same high standard expected of the Forenza brand.

Selected Brazil wood, inlaid ebony frog and natural horsehair all combine to give you an excellent and reliable response and articulation.

forenza-stringsStrings

Strings are the most common accessory, and a necessity. You should carry spares with you at all times. Normans Musical Instruments stock a large quantity of quality Forenza replacement Viola strings for full size Violas. The Forenza Viola String Set (for under £10!) are constructed from a steel core that is durable & not affected by changes in humidity & temperature. They produce a warm sound and provide a good and consistent bow response. Each is a complete set containing the C, G, D, & A strings.  Remember, don’t wait until a string breaks, always carry a spare set!

rosinRosin

A much needed, yet inexpensive accessory, Forenza Violin Rosin will give your Viola bow the correct level of adhesiveness to ensure accurate articulation and response. Forenza Violin Rosin is by far our most popular brand due to its quality and price of under £3! The rectangular design allows for easy application and provides the perfect friction between the bow and string. Top-Tip; always sand/rub down a little of any new rosin blocks to help adhesion, plus don’t press too hard and rip the hairs from your bow. No more ‘Scratching’ Viola’s now!!

shoulder-restShoulder Rest

Obviously shoulder rests make your whole performance and practise technique a more comfortable activity……and lessen the signs of a visible double-chin(s)!! The Forenza Violin Shoulder Rest (also suitable for Viola) is our highly recommended model.  Due to its ergo dynamic design, comfortable padded area and the fact it retails at under £7, these are outstanding value for money.  Available in ¾ and full size, the durable rubber connecting clips protect the viola and make them height & width adjustable.  The thick padded foam area has been contoured to perfectly fit into the shoulder. Comfort and Joy!

Cases

Obviously, your beloved Viola came with a case, but sometimes they can be damaged or zips break etc. and you require a suitable replacement. At Normans Musical Instruments we can guarantee to provide you with an affordable and high quality Forenza case for your viola.

We stock two models of Forenza cases; the Forenza Prima 2 Style and the professional Forenza Square Case. The Prima 2 style cases are an excellent replacement case. Lightweight with a lined and shaped plush interior to protect your instrument from scuffs and scratches. They have a pocket compartment for your rosin and accessories while a carrying strap and handle make it perfect for easy transportation!  Available for 14”, 15” and full size 16” Violas.

The premium designed Forenza Square Viola Case (which is actually oblong!) provides excellent protection for your precious Viola. With a firm shaped interior lined with plush velour and a sturdy squared exterior they are a luxury, yet affordable case. There are 3 separate internal compartments for accessories and an external pocket for music. Inside there is space for 2 bows. Carry with either the handle or shoulder strap. Available only in full size.

So, if you are fortunate enough to play a wonderful Viola (provided by Normans Musical Instruments naturally), please let us keep your instrument in perfect working condition with our reliable range of Forenza accessories.

And, if you are unfortunate enough to have a ‘little accident’ with your Viola, don’t panic! Just like Bob the Builder, “Can you Fix it”? With Normans and Forenza’s help, “Yes You Can”!!
