It contains 30 instruments, including four nesting Contemporânea metal surdo drums, along with mallets, sticks and beaters, a three-tone samba whistle for the leader and The Beatlife Book: Playing & Teaching Samba, so a full samba band can be set up from a single pack.

Four Nesting Contemporânea Surdo Drums

The pack includes four metal-bodied Contemporânea surdo drums in 12-inch, 14-inch, 16-inch and 18-inch sizes, each supplied with a Liverpool mallet. The surdos provide the deep bass pulse that holds a samba band together. When not in use, the drums nest inside each other, keeping them compact and easy to store in a classroom or music storeroom.

A Full Samba Percussion Section
