Fender Passport Event Series 2

The Fender Passport Event Series 2 is a self-contained portable PA system that steps up from the Conference model with greater power, a more comprehensive mixer and an expanded set of outputs. Designed for medium-size audiences and a wide range of applications - from education and worship events to presentations, live performances and small club gigs - it delivers professional-quality sound in a carry case format that sets up in minutes.

The system outputs 375 watts through two Fender Special Design 8-inch woofers and two 1.2-inch horn-loaded tweeters for clear, full-range coverage with strong projection. As with other models in the Passport range, the cabinet opens via simple release latches and all necessary cables are included.

Inputs, Outputs and Connectivity

The Event Series 2 features a seven-channel mixer with nine inputs, giving it considerable flexibility for mixed-source scenarios. Four combination XLR and quarter-inch mic and line inputs handle microphones and line-level sources, while a dedicated quarter-inch instrument input with a front-panel Hi-Z and line switch makes it suitable for direct guitar connection without an additional direct box. A stereo quarter-inch input, stereo 3.5mm input and Bluetooth streaming cover playback from computers, mobile devices and other sources.

On the output side, a 3.5mm stereo phones and line output handles headphone monitoring or feeds to external devices, a quarter-inch mono output with level control can drive a powered monitor, and a quarter-inch sub output with automatic high-pass filter allows the system to be paired with a powered subwoofer for extended low-end performance.

Each of the seven channels has independent volume, treble, bass and reverb controls with a mic and line pad, giving the operator precise control over each source in the mix.

Portability and Build

At 375 watts the Event Series 2 is well suited to medium-size indoor audiences and outdoor events where a compact but capable system is needed. The moulded plastic cabinet features an integrated top-mount handle, and international voltage operation across 100-120V and 220-240V ensures the system performs reliably across different power supplies.
