What difference does gold brass make?

Gold brass has a higher copper content than standard yellow brass, giving a warmer, broader tone with more depth in the sound — a material choice usually reserved for professional instruments, used here across the whole body, bell and leadpipe.

When is a player ready for a step-up trumpet?
