The Montreux Concert Series Tenor Horn is a step-up Eb tenor horn for progressing players: silver-plated throughout, with three stainless steel valves, a yellow brass body and bell and a gold brass leadpipe. It comes with a high-quality silver-plated mouthpiece and a lightweight moulded hard case with backpack straps.
Who is this tenor horn for?
Improving players who have outgrown a student horn — typically brass band members and secondary school students working through the grades — and bands wanting professional-style tone without the professional price. Its design takes inspiration from some of the great professional tenor horns, with a precision-engineered valve block for accurate articulation. Complete beginners are better served by the Montreux student tenor horn. Curious why finishes matter? Yellow brass, gold brass, red brass — what's the difference? explains.
