The Stagg CAJ-50M-N is a standard-size birch cajon with a natural front board, 2 pairs of adjustable strings and anti-skid rubber feet. It is designed for beginners and keen percussionists who want a versatile cajon with deep bass and a snare-like slap, and is certified to EN71 for players from 5 years old.

Bass Tones and Snare-Like Slap

Strike the centre of the front board for punchy low-end tones, or play near the top edge for a crisp, snare-like slap. Two pairs of strings mounted in a V-pattern behind the front board create the snare sound, and you can adjust them with the included tuning key to suit your style.

Birch Plywood Construction

The body is made from 9mm (0.35") 7-layer birch plywood, with a 7mm (0.28") 5-layer birch back. The front board is 3mm (0.12") 3-layer birch plywood with a natural finish. The materials are FSC certified.

Comfortable and Stable to Play

Ergonomic side and front edges make the cajon more comfortable to sit on and play for longer sessions. Anti-skid rubber feet help keep it steady on the floor. The cajon measures 29.5 x 31 x 48cm (11.61 x 12.2 x 18.9") and weighs 5kg (11lb).

Who Is This Birch Cajon Suitable For?

The CAJ-50M-N suits beginners, students and experienced percussionists looking for a standard-size cajon for practice, acoustic sessions and live playing. It carries EN71 certification and is suitable from 5 years old, making it a good choice for families and schools.
