The SLG200N uses Yamaha's SRT Powered pickup and preamp system to recreate the resonance and tone of a full-bodied classical guitar. Played unplugged, the slim body keeps the sound very quiet, so you can practise through headphones without disturbing anyone nearby. Plug into an amp or PA and the same system delivers a full, natural classical tone for the stage or studio.

Built to travel
A detachable frame lets the SLG200N break down into a smaller footprint for easy transport, and its ultra-slim body is far more compact than a conventional classical guitar. A carry bag is included, making it a practical choice for musicians who need an instrument that travels well.

Authentic classical playing feel
Despite its slim profile, the SLG200N keeps the 650mm scale length and a 50mm nut width, so the wider fingerboard and spacing stay true to a traditional classical guitar. The mahogany body and neck are paired with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, finished in a satin natural colourway.

Effects and controls built in
Onboard controls include volume, bass and treble, two reverbs and a chorus effect, plus a chromatic tuner, so you can shape your tone without any extra pedals or outboard gear. An AUX input also lets you plug in another audio source to play along with backing tracks.
